LockscreenToggles is a new tweak that allows you to toggle settings like Wifi, Brightness, Bluetooth, Power settings, location services, DND and more from your lockscreen.
Put simply, it’s NCSettings on the Lockscreen. Although yeah, the toggle options aren’t as exhaustive as NCSettings right now. However, Samball, the developer of LockscreenToggles has said that the tweak will be updated, getting more toggle options.
Once installed, LockscreenToggles can be accessed by swiping the clock on the lockscreen. When you swipe, the tweak reveals a list of toggles that can be turned ON or OFF by tapping on it. You can also swipe down on the bar to reveal a ordering list where you can sort the toggles as per your requirement.
LockscreenToggles is a powerful tweak if you frequently have to change the settings toggles. For instance, if you’re like me, you’ll probably shift between Wifi and 3G often. In these cases, I turn OFF Wifi often. I do that with the Location Services too because I don’t use Maps all too often and nor do most of my apps require that to be switched on.
What’s interesting is that LockscreenToggles adds some interesting toggles like “Respring” which are usually unavailable on other tweaks. This will be quite helpful if you are playing around with tweaks and need to respring often.
Here are the toggles available on LockscreenToggles:
- Do Not Disturb
- Location Services
- Orientation Lock
- Airplane Mode
The tweak is available on BigBoss and is priced $0.99.
LockscreenToggles is compatible with all iOS 6 devices and also comes with support for other lockscreen tweaks like LockInfo 5.
Although this tweak offers a quick way to toggle Settings, I still prefer NCSettings over this one.
