I agree that dust hasn't yet settled down on iPhone 7/7Plus, but the euphoria surrounding iPhone 8 is already threatening to climb on the highest ladder. Taking everything into account, all the excitement seems to be out-rightly justified as the 2017 iPhone is said to bet big not just on design but also on features.
As always good-looking concepts have begun to pour in. Though they might not lead us to the ultimate conclusion as yet, they can surely keep up the tempo of our curiosity. That's for sure! What about having a glance at some of the finest iPhone 8/8 Plus concepts? Let's find out!
iPhone 8 Features Expectations
If rumors are anything to go by, iPhone 8 is all set to embrace a radical design. Having disappointed millions of fans by not introducing a brand new design with iPhone 7, Apple wants to celebrate the 10th anniversary of iPhone with plenty of firecrackers.
Speaking to Business Insider outside Apple's Herzliya office at Maskit Street 12, the Apple employee said staff in Israel are working on what's coming “next” in Apple's product line, giving a particular mention to “iPhone 8.”
Glass Design with Stainless Steel Frame
Various reports have suggested that iPhone 8 would feature glass design with stainless steel frame (very much like iPhone 4). The flat sides with curved edges will add more charm to the profile of the iPhone.
“The next-generation iPhone is expected to abandon its conventional aluminum back cover design and will adopt a new concept using two reinforced glass panes and a metal frame in the middle. The metal bezel will be made of stainless steel using a forging process to enhance its sturdiness and reduce costs and manufacturing time.” – DigiTimes

iPhone 8 is rumored to come with the edge-to-edge display. The bezel-free display means the iconic Home button will be integrated into the touch screen itself.
Camera and Touch ID Integrated into Display
The Fingerprint scanner is said to be embedded into the entire screen of the next-gen iPhone. “In the case of fingerprint recognition systems that include arrays of capacitive sensing elements to detect the fingerprint images, i.e. capacitive fingerprint sensors, there may be a number of reasons for these components to axially aligned with other components of the consumer electronics device, such as display stacks and touch screens, not the least of which is an interest in avoiding assigning valuable surface space exclusively to a component that may only be used briefly during the process of identifying the user.” –
Curved OLED Display

The 2017 iPhone will have a gorgeous OLED display. “Sharp currently supplies display panels to Apple, but it does not own OLED technology yet. Foxconn has said it will invest 200 billion yen to help Sharp develop the technology.” – Nikkei
Front-Facing Camera Embedded into the Screen
Another big surprise that the next-gen iPhone might bring to us is the front-facing camera embedded into the screen. It would be interesting to see how the selfie-shooter will work.
Iris or Facial Scanning
The 2017 iPhone could have iris or facial scanning technology. An iris scanner will allow you to unlock your iPhone or make payments by authenticating with your eyes.
“Xintec is expected to enter mass production for iris-recognition chips in 2017, which will boost the backend house's revenues for the year, the report cited market watchers as saying. New orders for iris recognition sensors include those for the chips that will be embedded in the 2017 series of iPhone, the watchers were also quoted in the report.” – DigitTimes
Long-Range Wireless Charging
A lot of Android smartphones flaunt wireless charging for quite some time. However, Apple is yet to bring it to iPhone. As per rumors, iPhone 8 could embrace wireless charging solution in its best form.
“Apple is exploring cutting-edge technologies that would allow iPhones and iPads to be powered from further away than the charging mats used with current smartphones, the people said, asking not to be identified as the details are private. The iPhone maker is looking to overcome technical barriers including loss of power over distance with a decision on implementing the technology still being assessed.” – Bloomberg
Some rumors have suggested that Apple may introduce three models. While one iPhone 8 model will have OLED display, the two others will flaunt standard LCD display. The 5-inch model will join the illustrious party of 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models.
According to Nikkei, all the three iPhone 8 models will have glass backs. The glass body of the device would be built around an aluminum or stainless steel frame.
Apple has tentatively decided that all the 5.5-inch, 5-inch, and 4.7-inch models will have glass backs, departing from metal casings adopted by current iPhones, and Biel and Lens are likely to be providing all the glass backs for the new iPhones next year.
Faster A11 processor
Powered by the A11 processor, iPhone 8 is going to be a lot faster and efficient. It can also make the next-gen iPhone last long. Since A10 processor is almost 40% faster than its predecessor, an A11 processor could have the same lead over its predecessor.
