iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus Features

iPhone 8/8 Plus Design

iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are covered with glass on front and back. There isn’t much to be impressed on the color front. The couples are available in Silver, space gray, and gold

Some other features of the design include custom aluminum alloy, glass has a seven-layer color process, internal steel, and copper structure. The glass is the most durable ever in a smartphone.

The glass cover might scare a lot of users about its durability and also above protecting it. To your surprise, 8 and 8 Plus are sealed for water and dust resistance.

iPhone 8/8 Plus Display

As always, Apple has pioneered in delivering world-class displays. The new displays are with True Tone that adapts color and temperature to ambient light.

Sound

New stereo speakers are 25 percent louder than iPhone 7 and also delivers deeper bass.

Processor

Apple finally seems to be joining the power chip league by releasing a new powerful chip, the A11 Bionic. Most powerful chip ever in a smartphone. It has six core 64-bit, two high-performance cores, and four high-efficiency cores. Also, it has second-gen performance controllers, making everything faster.

iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are powered with A11 that has a new image processor, with faster low light autofocus, and new hardware noise reduction.

Also, they will also be powered by new Apple-designed GPU, 30 percent faster than A10.

iPhone 8/8 Plus Camera

The camera is no more an ancillary feature for any phone and especially for the iPhone. There is a special set of users that buy a phone just for the fantastic camera. So far, Apple has never disappointed as long as the camera is concerned. The new iPhones are enriched with the all-new 12mp sensor that provides 83 percent more light, more power efficient.

The regular iPhone 8 will feature OIS, while 8 Plus has dual 12mp sensors, f1.8 and f2.8 on the telephoto.

For people who don’t get into the weeds of CPUs and GPUs and CoreML, this camera is going to be the thing.

The new dual-camera features called “Portrait Lighting”: the dual cameras sense depth and rework the lighting while you compose the shot.

There’s also a new menu to select the lighting effect you want to use. “These aren’t’ filters, this is real time analysis of the light on your subject’s face.”

To explain it in simpler terms, the iPhone 8 series can be said to be the first iPhone really created for augmented reality. Even the CPU, GPU, and the image sensor in the A11 Bionic are all tuned for AR.

Connectivity

The future is wireless. iPhone 8 has LTE Advanced, BT 5.0, and a glass back for wireless charging!
