Though it may have been slightly overtaken by iPhone 6, many users still favour the 6 Plus as it has packed in more qualities such as, better battery life. Home Screen rotation is another feature that makes iPhone 6 Plus appear like a small iPad.

Some iPhone 6 Plus users have recently reported that Home Screen is not rotating on their device. They have tried fixing it but they haven’t found any way out. So, what’s the issue with it? Can it be fixed with immediate effect?

iPhone 6 Plus Homescreen Not RotatingWhen you turn your iPhone into horizontal position, all the app icons are rotated sideways and hence they appear in horizontal position. The horizontal position puts the iPhone’s dock onto the side thereby making your phone look like a dazzling, small iPad.

However, there are two things which you need to remember, if you want your iPhone 6 Plus’ Home Screen to rotate.

#1. The Orientation Mode has to be turned off.

#2. Standard zoom must be enabled. Instead, if you have enabled Zoomed in display settings, the Home Screen won’t rotate.

Therefore, before moving ahead with the process of resolving Home Screen rotation issue, let’s first turn of Orientation Mode.

Simply swipe up from the bottom of your iPhone screen to bring up Control center and tap on Orientation Mode from the upper right corner to turn it off.
