It’s quite normal for some Far East manufacturers to put up “iPhone 6″ cases much before the existence of the device is confirmed. But this time around, a hugely popular case manufacturer has listed iPhone 6 cases on Amazon for pre-orders.
Spigen put up these iPhone 6 4.7” cases for pre-orders. It’s not much: you can grab one of these only after September 30th, 2014 – about a week after the expected release date of iPhone 6. But it’s bolstering the 4.7″ iPhone 6 dimensions as we know them.
By now, the rumors have been flowing in so freely and frequently that the 4.7″ iPhone 6 is all but confirmed. It now looks like even the real dimensions are almost sure to stick to the ones rumored. Talk about any surprise being left for the actual announcement of iPhone 6.

Spigen has listed not one but several variants of the iPhone 6 case. All of the cases, however, show a purported device inside which has a power button on its side (instead of the top as in current iPhones). And the official description reads: “Compatible with Apple iPhone 6 (4.7″).
We had rumors about iPhone 6 going into mass production this month, in time to ship in September. Some initial and unfounded rumors have hinted a couple of dates for the announcement and launch of iPhone 6. September 15th (announcement) and September 22nd or so for the iPhone 6 to hit the shelves.
It’s hard to figure out if Spigen went ahead with the plan based on some official word from Apple or based on all the rumors floating around. Nevertheless, the run up to iPhone 6 has started.
Most recently, we wrote about the iPhone 6 sapphire glass display. You might want to check that out too. It looks like a lot of production/prototype units are getting leaked very easily.
