As is the case with Apple’s iPhone upgrades, the iPhone 5S one-ups iPhone 5 this year (along with iPhone 5C effectively replacing the latter). Yet, the price-points remain the same.
There was an initial doubt about Apple’s plans about pricing especially in view of the new developments (iPhone 5C, dropping of iPhone 5 etc.) but Apple has retained the same structure/pattern for iPhone 5S.
Here it is iPhone 5S Price:
All prices are for iPhone 5S on the two-year contract:
(all prices for the U.S.A)
- 16 GB – $199
- 32 GB – $299
- 64 GB – $399
The iPhone 5S is slated to be released on September 20th in the usual eight countries. Here’s the full-list: (we’ll be updating the post as and when Apple announces the release dates for other countries)
Releasing on September 20th
- United Kingdom
Obviously, Apple’s announcement did not talk about the SIM-Unlocked iPhone 5S but here’s the deal anyway.
iPhone 5S Unlocked would cost you similar to what iPhone 5 cost. Here’s it:
- 16 GB – $649
- 32 GB – $749
- 64 GB – $849
Note that this iPhone 5S unlocked price is not yet official but since we’re talking about patterns here, this could just be it.
Your country is not on that list? You might have to wait it out. Apple has promised that the iPhone 5S will be released in 100 countries by the end of this year.
Interestingly, Apple releases the iPhone 5S in batches of a few countries at once so your country might be on top of the line.
