Update: Pangu has been updated now. You can install Cydia from within the Pangu app itself (no need to SSH and install manually). Here’s how to install Cydia with the Pangu app and here’s how to jailbreak iOS 8.1 using Pangu (in case you are starting from scratch).

Pangu – Chinese jailbreak team has released jailbreak tool for iOS 8.1. However, this jailbreak tool is not yet bundled with Cydia. Cydia allows to enjoy your jailbroken device at its best. So there is no meaning to jailbreak your iOS device without having Cydia.

However, good news is that you can install Cydia manually on your jailbroken iPhone or iPad running iOS 8/8.1. Thanks to Saurik to quickly update Cydia to support iOS 8. Pangu team will also release updated jailbreak tool very soon so you won’t require to install Cydia manually. If you can’t wait for updated version, follow below guide to install Cydia manually on your jailbroken iPhone or iPad.
