Pangu – Chinese jailbreak team has released jailbreak tool for iOS 8.1. However, this jailbreak tool is not yet bundled with Cydia. Cydia allows to enjoy your jailbroken device at its best. So there is no meaning to jailbreak your iOS device without having Cydia.
However, good news is that you can install Cydia manually on your jailbroken iPhone or iPad running iOS 8/8.1. Thanks to Saurik to quickly update Cydia to support iOS 8. Pangu team will also release updated jailbreak tool very soon so you won’t require to install Cydia manually. If you can’t wait for updated version, follow below guide to install Cydia manually on your jailbroken iPhone or iPad.
How to Install Cydia After Jailbreaking iOS 8.1 with Pangu:
Step 1: Make sure your iOS device is jailbroken with this guide
Step 2: Open Pangu App on your device and install OpenSSH
Step 3: Download and install CyberDuck SFTP client from here
Step 4: Find out WiFi IP address of your iOS device from Settings -> Wi-Fi-> and tap on “i” next to your connected Network.
Step 5: Open CyberDuck to connect with your iOS device’s IP address
Step 6: Download required Cydia files from here and place them on your iOS device with CyberDuck.
Step 7: Once CyberDuck is open, click on Go -> Send Command and run the following command and then click on Send.

Step 8: Click again on Go -> Send Command, type restart and click on Send to reboot your iOS device.
That’s all. Now you can see Cydia icon on your iOS device. Launch Cydia and install tweaks to enjoy your new jailbroken iOS device at its best.
