A purported image of the specification sheet for a 256GB iPhone 7 Plus has emerged online. If the leaked photo is anything to go by, the next-gen iPhone will be called iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

The image was first posted on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. As the new iPhone is just about to be unveiled next week, a number of leaked images claiming to showcase the upcoming iPhone have been doing the rounds these days.

iPhone 7 Lightning Earphone Confirm

iPhone 7 to Feature The All-In-One Lightning EarPods

As per reports, the alleged photo of the specification sheet is of Hong Kong origin. It claims to reveal the inclusion of Lightning-equipped wired EarPods as well as a Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter in the box.

Leaked iPhone 7 Plus packaging indicates Lightning EarPods and Lightning 3.5mm Headphone Jack

The photo falls in line with what we have come to know about the features of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus so far based on several rumors. It only confirms that the headphone jack is going to be removed. And the new iPhone will depend on a versatile Lightning port not just for charging but also for listening, and connectivity.

Pre-Orders to Begin on September 9

Apple is set to introduce its brand new flagship smartphones along with Apple Watch 2 at the forthcoming September 7 media event. Pre-orders for the next-gen iPhones are likely to begin on September 9. They are expected to launch on September 16 or September 23.

Yesterday, the tech giant added a 2TB storage tier to its iCloud service.

With the launch of larger capacity smartphones coupled with the dual-camera system for the 5.5-inch phablet, the addition of a new storage tier makes sense.

Yesterday, we had reported that the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC) issued new certificates for Apple products including iPhone 7 and 7 Plus along with as many as ten models of Apple Watch and AirPods.

The camera of the new iPhones will be much improved, which would be great for mobile photography. Especially the dual-camera system for the Plus model would an absolute stunner. (Make sure to check out our editorial on why iPhone 7/7 Plus can be amazing for mobile photography.)
