iPad

Steve Jobs can be termed as inventor of tablets; first tablet ever made was Newton MessagePad100 by Apple in 1993. Since then Apple has always focused on portability with minimum hassles. Steve Jobs, in his 1983 speech, said that, “Company’s strategy is really simple. What we want to do is we want to put an incredibly great computer in a book that you can carry around with you and learn how to use in 20 minutes … and we really want to do it with a radio link in it so you don’t have to hook up to anything and you’re in communication with all of these larger databases and other computers”.

iPad

Apple tends to give something new every time. After enjoying fatherhood of tech revolution by launching iPhone, Apple in 2010 gifted the world with iPad. A tablet no one thought of, a device which can help day-to-day life in many ways. It was heartily welcomed by users of every age group.

A technology that was considered just for fun was gradually becoming indispensable. Apple was smart enough to hit the gear by launching iPad 2 comparatively thinner than the newly launched iPad. Users were overwhelmed by the looks, but looks can be deceptive and Apple boasts a quality benchmark, therefore a new version was launched with retina display and long-term evolution (LTE) technology for best-in-class display and fastest ever connectivity.

Thinking out of the box is what Apple always does. A completely fresh series was launched; it was time to make waves with iPad Air. The new iPad Air was even thinner than iPad 2, if we ignore the looks; it was loaded with Apple A7 processor along with Apple M7 motion co-processor. We might think what else could be done to an iPad? Only a father can answer. Apple introduced iPad Air 2 with touch ID finger print scanner to cater the best possible security of user data. There was still one question unanswered: Portability. Apple furnished the demand by launching iPad Mini. Specs were similar to iPad. Two new models iPad mini 2 and 3 served the purpose of iPad with extra portability.

On Sept. 9, 2015 Apple electrified everyone with the launch of iPad Pro; with a 12.9″ massive display. iPad Pro boasts the latest A9 chip under the hood. Apple for the first time, introduced a stylus and named it as Apple Pencil, Apple also launched the Smart Keyboard that can easily attach with iPad Pro.

No one can predict the future; we can just wait and watch what’s next from Apple?
