There have been several occasions when I listened to a nice song and wished to view its lyrics just to learn the song by heart. Luckily, Apple has made it pretty up front to view lyrics in Apple Music not just on iPhone but also on Android, Mac, and PC.

So, the next time you couldn’t understand the words of a song while enjoying Apple Music, you can quickly get the lyrics to remove the confusion. What’s more, if lyrics are unavailable for a specific song, you will also be able to add custom lyrics.

When listening to a song, you need to tap or swipe up on the player at the bottom of the screen to open Now Playing → Tap on Humberger button → Tap on Lyrics (Refer the below screenshots.)

While listening to a song, you need to click the three horizontal tiny lines at the top of iTunes.

When listening to a song, simply swipe up on the Touch surface of your remote and select lyrics button (looks like a tiny circle with three lines inside.)

Edit or Add Custom Lyrics in Apple Music on Mac or PC

Just in case, lyrics aren’t available for a song, or you wish to add your own, you have the option to add lyrics to songs on iTunes.

Step #1. Launch iTunes and then find the song that you wish to add lyrics for. Then, click to highlight it.

Step #2. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or at the top of the iTunes window, select Edit → click on Get Info.

Step #3. Now, click the Lyrics tab and select Custom Lyrics at the bottom of the screen → Finally, you need to enter your lyrics and click OK to save.

You can now view the custom lyrics across all of your other devices signed in with the same Apple ID.
