It’s been quite some time since iPhone 6s and 6s Plus has been launched. Almost every owner of the Apple’s flagship device would have got used to the 3D Touch technology. 3D Touch being launched for the first time has limited possibilities, but it’s just the beginning. The possibilities of the new technology are endless, and we can expect it to be integrated into a wider horizon.
Out of the many uses of 3D Touch, today we will focus on 3D Touch with Photos app. Apple hasn’t made the most out of the new technology, but it certainly had made few things easy for users. One of them is viewing pictures from the last year easily using the 3D Touch on iPhone 6s series. The process is very simple, but we have sorted it out step-by-step for basic understanding.
How to View Pictures from Last Year with 3D touch on iPhone 6s/6s Plus
Step #1. Unlock your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus.
Step #2. Now 3D Touch on the Photos app from your iPhone Home Screen.
Step #3. From the quick access pop-up, tap on “One Year Ago.”
Step #4. Photos app will now display all the pictures falling in that range of one year ago.
If there are no pictures exactly matching the year date, it will display general pictures, still falling in a year prior to the date. The same command can be used for Siri as well, but she isn’t as accurate as the Photos app.
