How to Use Paste to Go and Paste to Search in iOS 9 Safari

Though this feature looks ordinary, it can certainly save your time; now you don’t need to type in a short or long search phrase in the address bar of your browser. Just copy the phrase from your iPhone and paste it on address bar. Please note that you won’t be able to copy any particular phrase or keyword from your Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp feed; you can copy the text from a webpage you have opened from a link shared with you on these social media apps.

Before moving forward, a question might arise in your mind: why should I copy a link and paste it on bowser when I can directly open it by a single tap? Well, some links open in apps only and not in browser, and apps have their own limitations in that you may not share the link to your contacts. Safari browser provides more features like Add Bookmark, Add to Favorites, Add to Reading List, Add to Home Screen, Request Desktop Site, Find On Page etc. You may not get so many features on any app; hence, iOS users use Safari browser.

Let’s now take an example of this feature. Suppose your colleague or a friend has shared a link with you on your Twitter handle; you don’t want to open that link in Twitter. Rather, you want to open the link in your Safari browser. Follow the steps mentioned below.
