Shazam has always been a crowd favorite music discovery app. So far the app allowed you to identify music only when your device was connected to the Internet. But that’s no longer the case today! You can now discover music even offline in Shazam on your iPhone.

So, how does the new offline mode work in Shazam on the iOS devices? Well, the app allows you to save song snippets when your iPhone is offline. And the moment your device connects to the Internet again, it automatically identifies them. Hence, you can save your favorite songs anytime anywhere!

That’s it!

The app will notify you with a message saying the Shazam has been saved.

Next up, when your device reconnects to the Internet, open Shazam again, the app will automatically name the song and add it to the “My Shazam” section of the app.

It will also send you a notification to let you know that the Shazam is ready when you are back online.

Wrap up:

Apple has reportedly acquired Shazam, which is considered to be one of the most music discovery apps. The tech giant confirmed it last week but didn’t disclose financial terms of the acquisition.

According to TechCrunch, the deal could be worth around $400 million. The app is already integrated with Apple Music and Siri. Now, we expect the Cupertino-based company to take the full advantage of it to further empower its music-streaming service.
