Music Memos is a recently released app by Apple for iPhone and iPad. The app basically allows you to easily create your own song. The app is more focused for composers and musicians, but it’s not limited to professionals. You can too have your take on the app and start composing your first track.

Before rushing to the guide, please make sure that you have iCloud Drive toggled on. To do so,

Step #1. Go to Settings → Tap on iCloud.

Step #2. Login with your Apple ID → Tap on iCloud Drive.

Now that you have enabled iCloud Drive, we can proceed with the guide on using Music Memos.

How to Use Music Memos on iPhone with iOS 9

Step #1. If you haven’t done it already, then download Music Memos app from iTunes.

Step #2. After the app is installed launch it from Home Screen.

Step #3. You’ll be presented with a pop-up message asking to use iCloud. Simply tap on “Use iCloud“. Alternatively, you can also set this later.

Step #4. You are now set to hit your favorite tune. Just tap on the blue circle to start recording. Use guitars, chorus, drums, or whatever inspired you.

Step #5. Once you are done with your recording, tap the circle again, which has turned red from blue.

That’s all; your first Music Memos track is ready to share with your friends. The app is pretty easy to use; all it needs is your talent to create a masterpiece.
