How to Turn Off iPhone 11 Pro Max, 11 Pro, and iPhone 11

Step #1. Press the Power button and any of the Volume Up or Down button simultaneously until the power/SOS slider shows up.

Step #2. Drag the ‘Slide to Power Off’ slider to the right. The iPhone will shut down in about 3-4 seconds.

Step #3. To Power On, press and hold the Power button until the  Apple logo shows up at the screen.

Notably, this is also the procedure for activating iPhone’s Emergency SOS. Instead of dragging the Slide to Power Off, drag the Emergency SOS slider to the right. Also, if you have supplied Medical ID and has kept it on always show, you can also see the Medical ID slider on this screen.
