Do you know that there is a built-in video trimming tool in the stock Photos app on your iPhone or iPad? So, if you have recorded a nice video and wish to give it a better look or want to remove some of the unwanted portions, you can get it done with ease.

How to Trim Videos in iOS 10 Photos App on iPhone or iPad

Step #1. First up, open Photos app on your iPhone.

Step #2. Head over to the video you wish to edit. Then, tap on the hamburger menu at the bottom of the screen.

Step #3. Tap and hold on the left or right side of the timeline.

Step #4. Next, simply drag the anchor left or right to trim the video as per your liking.

If you want to expand the timeline for better editing, just tap and hold on an anchor.

Step #5. Having trimmed the video perfectly, tap Done at the bottom right corner.

Step #6. Now, a menu will appear from the bottom. You will get two options—

Save as New Clip: The trimmed video will be saved as new.

Trim Original: It will let you replace the original video.

That's it! Now, you can repeat these steps to trim more videos.
