Google Calendar is an awesome tool to schedule events and tasks for a week, month or year. It helps you remember birthdays and anniversaries of your loved ones.
If you sync your Google Calendar with your iPhone or iPad, you can access the same at different iOS devices and credit goes to Apple eco-system. If you have already synced your Gmail & Contacts, you must have gone through the process.
However, there are many young takers of iOS devices; moreover, every day there are many users who are switching from Android phone to iPhone. This necessitates separate information on how a new user can sync Google Calendar with his new iPhone or iPad.
How to Sync Google Calendar with iPhone and iPad
Step #1. Launch Settings → Scroll down and tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Your iDevice will display different mail clients viz. iCloud, Exchange, Google, Yahoo, AoL, Outlook and other.
Step #4. Tap on Google.
Step #5. Sign in with your Google ID.
After signing in, you will be landed on a screen, where you will be requested to allow iOS to access some information of yours.
Step #6. Tap on Allow.
Now, you can see four options to toggle ON: Mail, Contacts, Calendars and Notes. Make sure that if Calendars is toggled OFF, you need to toggle it ON.
Step #7. Now tap on Save from top right corner.
Your Google Calendar will be synced with your iPhone or iPad.
If you have forgotten to toggle Calendars ON, you can go back and toggle the option ON (Settings → Mail, Contacts → Toggle On Calendars).
