The privacy policy of WhatsApp has been updated to start sharing your phone number as well as other account information with Facebook. The messaging app says the data sharing will improve your Facebook ads and product experiences.

“By coordinating more with Facebook, we'll be able to do things like track basic metrics about how often people use our services and better fight spam on WhatsApp. And by connecting your phone number with Facebook's systems, Facebook can offer better friend suggestions and show you more relevant ads if you have an account with them.”

What if you want to prevent WhatsApp from sharing data with Facebook? You can easily opt out it. Let's get it done quickly!
