There are certain times when we need disturbance from no one. It's then we mute our iPhone. Mostly we silence the phone either when we are relaxing or in an important meeting, both of them needs a peaceful environment. Even though you have your iPhone silenced, it will make the buzzing sound of vibration.
This sound of vibration can be irritating as well as disturbing, especially when you have something really very important thing on hand. Thankfully, Apple has provided a window to turn it off and here I will guide you how to do it. All you need to do is to follow the steps mentioned below.
How To Turn Off Vibration When iPhone Is In Silent Mode
Step #1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone → Look for Sounds and tap on it.
Step #2. Now simply toggle OFF the switch beside “Vibrate on Silent“. This will disable vibration by notifications or any incoming calls.
That's it; you will not be bothered anymore with any kind of vibrate or sound. The only downside of this is that most of the times people forget to enable ring or vibrate and then, ultimately missing the important calls. So make sure to enable either ring or vibrate when you are done relaxing or with the meetings.
In case you are not aware, you can also set custom vibrating patterns to suit your preference. So when you are in a meeting and don't want long vibration, just set a small tap like vibration, which doesn't make any buzzing sound, but at the same time notifies you that something is cooking on your iPhone.
