By default iOS automatically sorts your notes by the date edited. Hence, you can instantly take a glance at all those notes you had recently edited. But what if you wish to sort your Apple notes by title or date created on your iPhone or iPad?

It turns out; iOS allows you to categorize your notes in multiple ways. Let me show you how it’s done the quick way!

Step #4. Next up, you have three options:

  • Date Edited
  • Date Created
  • Title

You can choose any of the three options depending on your need. In this test, I’m going to choose Date Created. Now, when you open your Notes app, all of your notes will be sorted by the date when you created them.

Over to you

So, that’s how you can keep your notes in better sync depending on what suits your workflow. The stock Notes app for iOS 11 has got some very useful features. But the ones that have caught my eyes are document scanner, Instant Notes, and Instant Markup. Using the Markup tool, you can make your notes look appealing.

What’s the one feature you have found appreciable in the Notes app and what are the changes you want to see in it? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
