I guess most of you might already be aware of the Force Click feature on the 2015 MacBook and MacBook Pro. To all those who aren't familiar with it, it is like a 3D Touch of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, which helps you get certain jobs done on Mac without needing to do much of a hard work. Just for an instance, you can Force Click on a URL to get the preview of the website before you launch a browser, making things a lot easier.
The only problem I have personally found with using Force Click is that the sound it makes can be a little disturbing at times. Especially when working late night and everyone besides you are sleeping. For whatever reasons, if you wish to silence Force Click on/off, then it is quite easy to do. Just follow below mentioned easy steps to get the job done.
How to Silence Force Click On/Off on Mac
Step #1. Click on the Apple Logo.
Step #2. From the menu, launch System Preferences.
Step #3. Now click on Trackpad.
Step #4. Here you will see a checkbox with a message, “Silent clicking.” Just check the box beside the message.
That's it; you'll now have a peaceful environment while working on your Mac. In any case, if you wish to have that tickling sound back, just repeat the process. Instead of checking the box at the last step, uncheck it. That's pretty simple, right?
