How to Set the Clock Ahead on Your Apple Watch

I often used to get late for appointments despite trying my level best to be in time. That’s when I decided to set the clock ahead on my iPhone. Since then I have been able to catch up with time more often than not.

Now that Apple Watch has joined the esteemed company of iDevices, it would be even easier to get along with the pace of time. Interestingly, there is no option to set the Apple Watch clock behind unlike other traditional watches.

Simply put, you can only set the time forward on your Watch and not backward.

  • When you set the time ahead on your Watch, it only changes the time displayed on the watch clock face.
  • Alarms and notifications have no impact on this changed time.
  • Even World Clock time is not affected when you adjust the time.
  • You can set the time ahead by up to 59 minutes on your Watch.

How to Set the Time Ahead on Apple Watch

Step #1. Launch the Settings app on your Apple Watch.
