Enjoy catching up with some of your favorite podcasts at night? Follow this quick guide to enable podcast sleep timer on your iOS device so that the app automatically stops playing after a certain time or as soon as the current episode ends.

I like listening to some of my favorite podcasts before hitting the sack. On a few occasions, I fall asleep while playing an episode. Hence, I don’t forget to set a podcast timer on my iOS device so that the app automatically stops playing after the specific time. What about you?

How to Set Sleep Timer for Podcast on iPhone and iPad

Step #1. Launch Podcast app on your iOS device.

Step #2. Now, head over to the episode you wish to listen.

Step #3. Next, swipe up and select crescent moon Sleep Timer icon.

Tap on Sleep Timer in Podcast on iPhone or iPad

Step #4. Next up, you have to choose how long you wish the podcast to play.

You have several options to choose from:

  • In 5 minutes
  • In 10 minutes
  • In 15 minutes
  • In 30 minutes
  • In 45 minutes
  • In One Hour
  • When Current Episode Ends

You can select any of the available options.
