I like listening to some of my favorite podcasts before hitting the sack. On a few occasions, I fall asleep while playing an episode. Hence, I don’t forget to set a podcast timer on my iOS device so that the app automatically stops playing after the specific time. What about you?
With iOS 11 or later, it’s pretty straightforward to enable sleep timer for any episode. Haven’t yet given it a try? Let me show you how it works!
How to Set Sleep Timer for Podcast on iPhone and iPad
Step #1. Launch Podcast app on your iOS device.
Step #2. Now, head over to the episode you wish to listen.
Step #3. Next, swipe up and select crescent moon Sleep Timer icon.
Step #4. Next up, you have to choose how long you wish the podcast to play.
You have several options to choose from:
- In 5 minutes
- In 10 minutes
- In 15 minutes
- In 30 minutes
- In 45 minutes
- In One Hour
- When Current Episode Ends
You can select any of the available options.
That’s pretty much it! Now, go ahead and enjoy the episode. Once it’s finished, the app will automatically stop playing.
So, make the most of this simple tip to enhance your podcast time. If you belong to the same page as me, you would really appreciate this cool feature.
