How to Segment Workout Mid-Session on Apple Watch

Unlike the overall summary, the segmented workout provides a clear idea about which exercises is burning more calories or putting your body to the task.

I use my Apple Watch to stay fit and keep a tab on my workout with ease. To ensure I’m able to easily find out which part of the exercise has got the best out of my body or burnt more calories, I make sure to segment workout mid-session on the Watch. It’s a very convenient way to find the most effective exercises.

For instance, if you are going for a long outdoor run, you can mark each of the lap or distance. If you are doing a 20-minute indoor cycling, you can split the session into two segments. You can divide any of your workout sessions except swimming. As the screen locks during swimming workouts, you can’t mark segments.
