Step #1. Launch Apple News app on your iDevice.

Step #2. Open any news from For You, Favorites, Explore or Search.

Step #3. Now tap on the last option of Save.

This will save that news for you. Now you can come back to the home screen of News app. Tap on Saved option from the bottom menu and you can see that news under the Saved section along with History. Note that once you save news, the icon will turn blue.
