Step #1. First off, open the Home app on your iOS device.
Step #2. Now, tap on the Rooms tab at the bottom of the screen.
Step #3. Next, you need to long press on your HomePod icon.
Step #4. Next up, tap Details in the bottom right.
Step #5. Up next, tap on HomePod and then enter the new name.
Step #6. Tap on Done to confirm the change.

How to Rename the Room Which Contains Your HomePod
Step #1. Launch the Home app on your iOS device.
Step #2. Now, tap on the Rooms tab at the bottom → Firmly press on your HomePod icon and select Details in the bottom right.
Step #3. Next, tap on Room.
Now, you need to scroll down and tap Create New and then type in the new room name.
Step #4. Tap Save and finally, tap on Done button to confirm.
