Favourites have been a great feature in Safari for a long time. It lets you have the quick access to desired site/webpage quite efficiently. But what if you have accumulated hundreds of them and now want to get rid of them, how would you do that?
Over the course of time, you knowingly or unknowingly save quite a lot of pages which occupy not only plenty of space but also may cause Safari to go slow. Though you can do away with all the History and Bookmarks at just one go quite easily, you have to remove Favorites individually. It may be rather lengthy especially when you want to have a clean slate but you have no other alternative.
How to Remove Favorites from iOS 8 Safari on iPhone and iPad
Step #1. Launch Safari on your iDevice.
Step #2. Tap on Bookmarks icon from bottom.
Step #3. Again tap on Bookmarks icon if it is not selected. All your saved website links will be listed here under Favourites.
Step #4. Tap on Edit at the bottom right corner.
Step #5. Tap on the (-) sign red button.
Step #6. Tap on Delete.
Step #7. Tap on Done bottom right.
That’s done! That’s how you can delete Favorites in iOS 8 Safari individually. Wish we could delete all of them at once! Hopefully Apple brings the solution to it in future.
So many iPhone/iPad users report that their Safari doesn’t run fast. Though its speed may be affected by many other bugs such as poor internet connection or Wifi inconsistency, hundreds of saved links might be one of the main reasons. Therefore, it is always recommended that you should tidy them from time to time.
