If the TV set at your home has defective sound balance, the sound might get reduced automatically and you are not able to hear anything at all. To avoid this situation, you can use this option as well. This keeps dialogue and some delicate sounds properly heard.

This feature is helpful especially helpful when you are watching action-packed movies, wherein sounds of weapons and destruction dominate the scenes.

How to Reduce Louder Sounds on Apple TV

Step #1. Launch Settings menu on Apple TV.

Step #2. Go to Audio and Video option.

Step #3. Swipe down and you can access the options from top.

Step #4. Now you can turn it Audio ON and OFF for the video you are watching.

There is another easier way to control volume. Just tell Siri to “Reduce loud sounds”. Then, ask Siri to “Turn off reduce loud sounds”.
