Step #2. Now enter your phone number.  You will receive a verification code number via text message, which you need to confirm.

Step #3. After verification, launch TapeACall app.

Step #4. Tap on the recording icon with a red round dot.

Step #7. You will be landed on All Contacts screen on your iPhone.

Step #8. Select a contact you want to talk to. Wait for a few moments; when “merge calls” option appears, tap on it. Now your phone recording will start.

Step #9. Once you call is over, go back to the app and tap on Play icon below recording icon.

Step #2. Now open www.google.com/voice.

Step #3. Set up your account.

(Please note that Google Voice can give you a free number or you can transfer your current number; however, Google Voice will charge you $20 for this option and your plan with your current carrier will be cancelled)

Step #4. Once your Google Voice number is set up, go to the Google Voice settings in your profile. From Settings, click on a tab of “Calls”. Now check “Call Options” box.

You are now permitted to activate the recording process; tap number 4 on the dial pad. Once you start recording your call, Google will send a message to recipient “This call is now being recorded”. Same message is sent even if you have muted the call.

If you want to listen to your calls, go back to the app and open inbox and chose the recording. Google also provides transcribe service with certain inaccuracies.

Google Voice is quite popular among iPhone users as it is free to use and easy to set up. If you can ignore its inability to record outgoing calls, this app can be useful for you.
