If you are an iPhone user, you may be aware of DFU (Device Firmware Upgrade) Mode. Once enabled, it lets you put your iOS device into a state where it is able to communicate with iTunes-even without activating the boot loader or iOS. Most importantly, it allows your iPhone/iPad to get restored from any state.

You will need to put your iPhone into DFU Mode while Jailbreaking, unjailbreaking, updating from an outdated beta or troubleshooting any issue. If you are planning to buy the new iPhone, you will need to know how it works. Let’s check out!
