How To Post to Facebook/Twitter from iOS 8 Notification Center

You can now post to Facebook/Twitter directly from Notification Centre in iOS 8 or later thanks to the integration of third party widgets. Instead of going all the way to the official app to post comment, picture or share location, you can do it from Notification Centre itself.

Apple had this feature in iOS 5 and 6 which allowed users to post a casual tweet or post from Notification Centre itself. However, this feature was removed in iOS 7. With a handy app called TapToShare and iOS 8, you can now do this on your iPhone / iPad easily.
