Slightly hidden under the wraps is yet another new feature called “Pinning.” So, how does it work? Well, when you pin notes in iOS 11 Notes app, they will be displayed at the top of the list; thereby making it easier to access them quickly.

At any time, you don't want those pinned notes to be shown at the top of the list, you can easily unpin them. Here is how it works!

Step #1. Launch Notes app on your iOS device.

Step #2. Now, you have to open the folder which note you want to pin.

Step #3. Next, you need to swipe right from left on note in question.

Step #4. An orange push pin will show up; just tap on it.

That's it! Now, it will be displayed at the top of the list of notes under Pinned section.

Step #1. Open Notes app on your iOS device → Tap on Folder.

Step #2. Now, swipe right from left on the pinned note you want to unpin.

Step #3. Next, tap on the push pin button to unpin it.

That's done! Now, this note will no longer be displayed at the top of the list.
