When Instagram brought a new feature called “Hide Inappropriate Comments” to prevent trolling or abusive words, I wished it were available in Twitter as well. Finally, after a long wait, the news app now lets you mute abusive word or phrases. You can even report the tweet which you find inappropriate.

When you mute words, you will not receive any new notifications for tweets that include those offensive words.

In the worst cases, this type of conduct threatens human dignity, which we should all stand together to protect.”Twitter.
