tvOS allows you to check out the storage level on your TV. You can view how much space each app is consuming and take appropriate action to remove unwanted apps to regain some space.
Step #1. Launch Settings app on your set-top box.
Step #2. Now, click on General and select Manage Storage.
Step #3. On the next screen, you should see the list of the apps installed on your TV and how much storage each one of them has consumed.
If you find some apps taking more space than normal, you should delete them. Besides, if there are items that you hardly use on your TV, do away with them.
Delete the unwanted apps:
Keep in mind when you delete an app, all of its associated data will also be removed from your device. However, you can re-download your purchased apps from App Store free of charge; if you ever felt the need to get them back.
Simply highlight the trash icon for an app in the list and press the Touch surface to delete it.
tvOS allows you to delete apps directly on the Home screen as well. To do so, use the Touch surface to choose the app you wish to delete and then press and hold until it starts wiggling. Next, press the Play/Pause button for more options and choose Delete.
It’s always better to get rid of the unused apps.
