Apple’s latest iPhones flaunt Super Retina XDR OLED (The Pro) and Liquid Retina IPS LCD (iPhone 11) display. Users love to watch their screens and contents both. However, reading long text messages can cause eye strain if the fonts are small in size. There are many iPhone owners, who like to read PDF and iBooks on their iPhones. Although eBooks offer a feature to increase fonts, what about other apps? If you have iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max, you can make the font size bigger.
When you increase or decrease the font of text size, the effect can be seen on all apps – default and third-party apps. This means you are not supposed to change the font size for the individual app on your iPhone. Without further ado, let’s check how you can make text bigger on your iPhones.
How to Change Font Size on Your iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max
There are two ways you can adjust the font size on your iPhones. We will go through both methods.
Step #1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
Note that apps that support Dynamic Type will adjust to your preferred reading size.
Do You Want to Make Text Larger?
If you are not satisfied with the increased font size, you can make it even larger.
Step #1. Go back to Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size → Larger Text.
Step #1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone.
Step #2. Tap on Control Center.
Step #4. Under MORE CONTROLS, find the Text Size, and tap on the ‘+’ symbol before the option.
Step #5. Since you are using the latest iPhone 11 series, you need to swipe down from the top right corner of your device to bring down Control Center.
Step #6. Now tap on the Text Size icon from the options available on the screen.
Can I use Zoomed Display?
Yes, but this will increase the size of app icons as well. Once you use a zoomed display, you can see the increased fonts and app icons on your iPhone. Here is the process.
Step #1. Open Settings → Display & Brightness.
Your iPhone will restart quickly, and you can see the zoomed display on your device. You can now see larger icons and fonts on your iPhones. You can go back to the Standard view by following the same steps as mentioned above.
That’s all, friends!
If your power glasses are not close at hand, you can use this option to make the font size bigger on your iPhone. For me, changing the text from Control Center is the quickest and easiest way for any user. You need to edit the Control Center once, and your life is more comfortable than ever.
