“Facebook Live” has been primed to let you live stream your video to your friends or public. It’s a nice feature to let your views hit across the line.
How about live streaming your video using Facebook on your iOS device? Sounds interesting, isn’t it? Let’s give it a try!
How to Use “Facebook Live Video” on iPhone/iPad
Step #1. Launch Facebook on your iOS device.
Step #2. Next, tap on Live located at the top center right under the search bar.
(Alternately, you can tap on text field –What’s in your mind?-and then select Live Video)
Step #3. Next, you need to allow Facebook the access to your Camera and Microphone.
Step #4. Now, you have to write something about your video. Tap on Describe your live video.
Step #5. You can switch between the rear camera and front shooter by tapping on the arrow icon at the top right corner.
Step #6. Once you are ready, tap on the “Go Live”.
(In case, there is poor internet connection, you will see “Your connection is not strong enough to go” above the keyboard. Tap on it.)
A popup will appear on the screen saying your video is likely to have connection issues. It would suggest you to move to a different location or try to change your Wi-Fi network.
If you think that the internet connection is fine, tap on Go Live Anyway.)
Step #7. Finally, with 3, 2, 1 countdown the live streaming will start off. Showcase your talent to the heart’s content. Once you are done, tap on Finish at the bottom left corner.
How to Download and Share Facebook Live Video on iPhone/iPad
After you have recorded the video, you can Post it as usual. If you want to download it to your Camera Roll, simply tap on the downward arrow icon.
You have the option to choose your audience as well; if you didn’t select it earlier. To do so, tap on Friends and select the preferred option.
If you don’t like the video and want to delete it. Simply tap on Delete button at the bottom and confirm it.
That’s it! Now, go ahead and live stream as many videos as you want.
