Finally the wait is over for Mac users to jailbreak their iOS device running iOS 8.1.2. Till date, there was no option for Mac owners to jailbreak their iPhone or iPad. Good news is that a group of Chinese hackers has made it possible to jailbreak your iOS device using Mac with a tool called PP Jailbreak. This tool is compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 or later.

However, it’s an altogether different experience to use Cydia tweaks on your iPhone.Ready to know how you can jailbreak your iPhone/iPad running iOS 8.1.2 using Mac? Here you go:
Step #1. Make sure to restore your iPhone/iPad to 8.1.2. Before moving ahead, disable Find My iPhone, Passcode lock. Keep your device in AirPlane mode (Settings → switch on AirPlane mode.)
Step #2. Connect your iPhone to Mac via USB cable.
Step #3. Now, you will have to Download PP Jailbreak and save it on the desktop.
Step #4. In order to mount the volume, double click the ppjailbreak.dmg on the desktop.
Step #5. Next up, you need to drag thePP越狱.app file to the applications folder.
Step #6. Double click on PP越狱.app to open it in the apps folder. You must make it recognize your device.
Step #7. Uncheck the PP checkmark box which is in the bottom left corner.
Step #8. You will see the jailbreak button which is in the middle of the screen. Click on it.
Step #9. Next up, click on the button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step #10. Now, you’ve got to wait for a while until the jailbreak process is finished. A green checkmark will appear when it is completed. Your iPhone will reboot and when it is done, you will see Cydia.
Step #11. Disable AirPlane mode.
Step #12. Launch Cydia to complete the setup.
