#2. Your smartphone needs to be connected to a Wi-Fi network.

#3. Your Apple Watch must be at least 50% charged. Besides, the smartwatch needs to be on a charger to successfully get through the update process.

Step #1. Go to developer.apple.com on the iPhone which is paired with your Apple Watch.

Step #2.  Next, head over to watchOS 4 download page.

Step #3. Now, you have to tap on Download watchOS 4 beta Configuration Profile.

Then, you will have to select Apple Watch from the Choose a Device popup.

Step #4. Tap on Install.  Next, you have to enter your Passcode.

Step #5. Tap on Install to confirm.

Step #6. Next up, tap on Restart to reboot your Apple Watch.

The watchOS beta certificate will now get installed on your Watch.

Once the Watch app for iPhone has detected the watchOS configuration profile, install it on your device.

Step #1. Make sure to connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi. Then, open Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

Step #3. Next, tap on Download & Install.

Step #4. Next up, enter your Passcode on iPhone.

Step #5. Up next, Tap on Agree to the Terms and Conditions.

Step #7.  In the end, tap on Install on your iPhone or Apple Watch.

That's done! The update process has kick-started. After it has been completed, your device will reboot.
