#1. Currently, watchOS 3 is available as developer beta.

#2. The public beta is expected to arrive in July.

#3. You can’t downgrade from watchOS 3 beta without Apple’s support.

#4. You will have to install a certificate on your Apple Watch. Subsequently, you need to transfer the software on your iPhone running iOS 10.

#1. You have to install iOS 10 beta on your iPhone.

#2. Your smartphone must be connected to a Wi-Fi network.

#3. Apple Watch must have at least 50% battery life.

#4. The Watch needs to be on a charger to complete the update process successfully.

How to Install watchOS 3 Beta Certificate on Apple Watch

Step #1. First off, head over to apple.comon the iPhone paired with your Apple Watch.

Step #2. Next up, you need to navigate to the watchOS 3 download page.

Step #3. Tap on Download watchOS 3 beta Configuration Profile.

Step #4. Select Apple Watch from the Choose a Device popup.

Step #5. Tap on Install and then enter your Passcode.

Step #6. Up next, you have to tap on Install to confirm.

Step #7. Finally, tap on Restart to reboot your Apple Watch.

That’s it! The watchOS beta certificate has been installed on your smartwatch.

Install watchOS 3 beta on Apple Watch

After the Watch app for iPhone detects the watchOS configuration profile, go ahead with the process of installing it on your smartwatch.

Step #1. First and foremost, you have to connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi and launch the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

Step #2. Tap on the My Watch tab followed by General.

Step #3. Tap on Software Update.

Step #4. Next up, you have to tap on Download & Install.

Step #5. You need to enter the Passcode on your iPhone.

Step #6. Tap on Agree to the Terms and Conditions.

Step #7. Finally, tap on Install on your iPhone or Apple Watch.

The update process will start off. Once it has has been successfully completed, your device will reboot. That’s all!
