How to Ignore iTunes While iPhone Is Charging

If you don’t want your iPhone get synced with iTunes after connecting phone with Mac or Windows PC, you can eject your device from iTunes in three simple ways.

Step #1. Connect your iPhone with Mac or Windows PC.

Step #2. Click on iPhone icon in iTunes.

Below this iPhone icon, you can see the device name; next to the name, you can find a small eject icon.

Step #3. Click on that eject icon.

By this action, your iPhone will stay only in charging mode and will not sync with iTunes on your Mac or Windows PC.

There is another way you can eject your iPhone from iTunes.

Follow the first step as mentioned above.

Step #2. Click and Hold on iPhone icon seen below the main menu in iTunes.

You can now see a list of connected devices, and next to the device, also find an eject icon.

Step #3. Click on this eject icon.

Click on Eject Button in iTunes

This will give you same result as you saw in the first method.

Finally, there is this third method for which, you must have Mac.

Step #1. Connect your iPhone with Mac.

Step #2. From the Dock, right click on iTunes icon.

Step #3. From the menu, click on Eject “iPhone”.
