In iOS 10

Tap on Featured tab at the bottom in App Store and iBooks → scroll down to the bottom of the page → tap on Send Gift.

In iTunes Store, tap on Tones tab → make sure Featured tab is selected → scroll down to the bottom → tap on Send Gift.

In iOS 11

Step #1. Launch App Store, iTunes Store or iBooks app on your iOS device.

Step #2. In App Store, tap on your profile picture at the top right corner. Then, tap on Send Gift.

In iTunes Store on your iPhone, tap on Tones tab at the bottom. Then, make sure Featured tab is select at the top. Next, scroll down to the bottom and tap on Send Gift.

In iBooks on your iPhone, tap on Featured tab → scroll down to the bottom and tap on Send Gift.

Step #3. Next, enter the email address of the recipient. To make it more personal, you can add a cool message → Tap on the amount you want to send. There are three options like $15, $25, $100 (It depends on your country/region). If you want to enter the different amount, tap on Other.

Once you buy it, the gift will be sent immediately. But if you want to schedule it to send later, tap on Today and set the preferred date. Once you are done, tap on Next from upper right corner.

Step #4. Now, choose a suitable theme for your gift and then tap on Next.

Step #5. Tap on Buy → Tap on Buy Now to confirm.

How to Gift Apps, Movies, TV Shows, iBooks from iPhone and iPad

Step #1. Launch App Store, iTunes Store and iBooks app on your device.

Step #2. Now, locate the app/movie/TV show/iBook which you want to gift. Then, tap on Share button at the top right corner.

In iOS 11

In App Store, tap on the three horizontal dots.

In iTunes Store and iBook Store, tap on Share button at the top right corner.

Step #3. Tap on Gift.

Step #4. Enter an email address of the recipient. Also, add a nice message. If you don't want to send the gift right now, tap on Today and schedule it to be sent later.

When you have scheduled the gift, tap on Next.

Step #5. Select a theme for the gift and tap on Next.

Step #6. Tap on Buy. → Finally, tap on Buy Now to confirm.
