Step #1. Head over to Apple’s problem reports page: http://reportaproblem.apple.com/
Step #2. Next, you will have to log in with your Apple ID and password. Make sure to enter the Apple ID that you used to purchase the item.
Step #3. Find the purchase for which you want the refund → Tap on Report to the right of the purchase.
Step #4. Up next, you have to select the reason you want a refund of your purchase. File in the appropriate description and then submit it.
How to Get a Refund using Email Receipt on iPhone or iPad
You can request for the refund of your particular purchase via the email receipt as well. Though it might be slightly lengthy as you may have to search for the email receipt in question and then go ahead with the process.
Step #1. Open Mail app on your iOS device. Then, you need to search the receipt for which purchase you want the refund.
Step #2. Once you have found the receipt. Tap on it.
Step #3. Next, you will have to tap the purchase you wish to report.

Step #1. Open iTunes on your Mac or Windows PC.
Step #2. Click on Account from the right-hand sidebar, type in your password when prompted.
Step #3. Click on See All under the Purchase History.
Step #4. Click on the arrow next to the purchase batch that includes the purchase for which you want a refund.
Step #5. Now, you need to click on Report a Problem next to the purchase in question.
You will now be taken to Apple’s website. You will have to sign in using your Apple ID and passwords. Then, go ahead with the process to request the refund for your purchase and give a short and appropriate description regarding why you want the refund.
