Whenever I’m stuck at something or feel confused about it, the one app that instantly comes to my rescue is— “Google Search.” Apart from providing accurate and smart answers, it also allows you to keep sensitive stuff away; thanks to a neat feature called SafeSearch. For instance, you can filter explicit results in Google Search for iPhone to avoid seeing unwanted contents.
You might want to put offensive results aside especially when using your smartphone at home. If your kid is using Google Search, you’d like to ensure his web browsing is free from those indecent results. Whatever could be your personal reason, let’s find out how to block sensitive results in Google Search for iOS!
How to Block Explicit Results in Google Search App on iPhone and iPad
Step #1. Launch Google Search app on your iOS device.
Step #2. Next, tap on your profile at the top left corner.
Step #3. Now, scroll down and tap on Search settings under Privacy.
Step #4. Next up, select Filter explicit results → Finally, make sure to tap on Save to confirm the change.
From now onwards, you won’t see sensitive contents while using this app. If you ever want to remove this restriction, follow all the steps mentioned above, in the end, select Show most relevant results and then tap on Save.
I find this feature quite helpful as it offers you the desired freedom to keep overt contents at a fair distance. What’s your take on it? Share your valuable feedback about it.
