How to Download Instagram Photos and Videos to iPhone Camera Roll

Many a time you may have wished to download your favorite videos and photos from Instagram to your iPhone camera roll but had to drop the idea mid-way due to the lack of official option. No longer! Follow this hands-on guide to save all the clips that seem to appeal to your heart from the social networking apps and watch them offline.

While exploring the stories shared by friends and other people from around the world, I often come across some stunning videos, which I like to store in my special library. Though there is no official way to download Instagram videos and photos to iPhone Camera Roll, I use a third-party app to preserve the fun-loving shots for offline viewing.

How to Save Instagram Videos and Photos on iPhone

There are three apps that I have found pretty easy to use– InSaver, Repost Story for Instagram, and InstaRepost. Moreover, they are available for free. So, you can choose any of these apps to start saving videos straightaway.

Step #1. In this test, I’m going to use Insaver. So, download this app on your iOS device.

Step #2. Now, launch Instagram on your iPhone and find the photo or video you wish to download.

Step #3. Next, tap on the three dots at the top right of the video and select Copy Link in the menu.

Step #4. Next up, open Insaver. The moment you launch the app, the link is automatically copied in the text field. Now, all you need to do is just hit the Add to Favorites button.

Step #5. Next, tap on Download at the bottom right corner. You will be asked to allow the app to access your Photos for the first time, tap on OK in the pop-up.

That’s pretty much it! The video will be saved to your library. Now, you can view it offline and even share it with friends.
