How to Disable Read Receipt in WhatsApp on iPhone

WhatsApp is almost used by all iPhone users; there’s a read receipt feature introduced by WhatsApp. Here is a quick tip on how to disable read receipt in WhatsApp on iPhone.

WhatsApp messenger is one of the most favorite and widely used messengers. Recently WhatsApp was updated with calling feature; earlier update had given read receipt feature. Read receipt feature is a boon and a curse at the same time. It is a boon because you get to know when your message is read by your recipient; and it is a curse because same happens to you when you read a message!

The feature notifies the sender that you have read their messages by turning the tick mark to blue. Same is the case in group conversation, when each and every member has read your message; the tick mark turns blue. At times, we cannot reply back as soon as we read a message, and that is when the problem starts, especially when the message is from your wife!
