How to Disable Parked Car Alerts from Maps in iOS 10 on iPhone or iPad

The Maps app has seen significant improvements in recent times. With the additions of handy features like “Avoid Tolls & Highways,” it has become a great tool for navigation.

One of the most appreciable features that have caught my attention in iOS 10 is “Show Parked Location.” Once you have enabled it on your iPhone, it will show the parked location of your car and even send you alerts about that.

From now onwards, you won’t receive alerts about your parked vehicles.

Just in case, you wish to get notifications again, all you have to do is simply turn on the “Allow Notifications” switch.

That’s all!

One of the major reasons why my iPhone battery is able to last a bit longer is that I manage notifications as per need. If I don’t need alerts from any app, I disable notification from the app. It not just helps me improve the battery life of my device but also prevents unnecessary data consumption.

Of course, Messages app is favorite of most iPhone users in iOS 10 thanks stunning features like Digital Touch, 3X emoji, third-party App Store. But, Photos app is not too far behind with features like Memories and People album.
