Portrait Mode, which is exclusive to iPhone 7 Plus, is the biggest highlight of iOS 10.1. But, there is a neat feature called “Auto-Play Message Effects” which also came bundled with iOS 10.1.
Earlier, whenever Reduce Motion was enabled, the Bubble/Screen Effects would not work in iMessage. Hence, users had to disable this Accessibility feature to make the message effects work again. But with iOS 10.1, it’s no longer the case.
iPhone users have now the option to enable/disable the auto-message effects. Most importantly, they will work even when Reduce Motion is turned on.
