When Apple introduced an option to edit Control Center in iOS 11 last year, I knew the ability to rearrange Control Center on Apple Watch is not too far away. And pretty much on the expected line, the tech giant has offered an option to edit watchOS 5 Control Center toggles as well so that you can fine-tune CC to suit your workflow.
With watchOS 5 or later, you can choose to change the entire button layout of the Control Center. For instance, if you often use the Water Lock, Theater Mode, or take advantage of the ping feature to play a sound on your iPhone whenever it’s misplaced, you will be able to rearrange the layout of the buttons accordingly. Therefore, whenever you need to bring the oft-used functions into action, getting started will be just a tad easier. Let me show you how to customize Control Center on Apple Watch running watchOS 5!
How to Rearrange Control Center Toggles on Apple Watch Running watchOS 5
Step #1. Swipe up from the bottom of the watch face to bring up Control Center.
(Alternately, touch and hold the bottom of the watch face and then swipe up to access CC.)
Step #2. Now, scroll down and tap on Edit.
Step #3. When the buttons start jiggling, touch and hold the one you want to rearrange. Then, drag it to the desired location. Repeat it to fine-tune the layout as per your workflow.
Step #4. Once you are happy with the rearrangement, tap on the Done button to confirm the change.
Then, press the Digital Crown or swipe down from the top of the watch face to close CC.
That’s all there is to it!

Indeed, watcOS 5 has made Control Center more functional as you can now access it from inside an app as well. Thus, taking control of some of the most used functions has become more convenient than ever before, hasn’t it?
