Step #1. Launch Messages app on your iPhone.

Step #2. Now, open any conversation and then hit the Animoji icon in the menu bar.

Step #3. Next, you need to swipe right from left and tap on the + button.

Step #4. Next up, it’s time to customize your look.

Choose a nice skin tone from several available options. Pick out the one that you think best represent you or the mood you are in! Check out the slider that lets you adjust the skin tone.

Under Freckles, you have four options. While the first one looks pretty clean, other three have some patches. You can select any of the four options.

Step #6. When you are happy with the result, tap on Done at the top right corner to confirm.

Once you have crafted a Memoji, you can use it just the way you use Animoji on your iPhone.

Step #1. Open Messages app → head to the conversation → tap on Animoji icon.

Step #2. Now, select your created Memoji.

How to Edit, Duplicate,  or Delete Memoji in iOS 12 on iPhone X Series

Step #1. Open Messages app → Conversation → Animoji icon.

Step #2. Now, select the Memoji you want to edit.

Step #3. Next, tap on three dots at the bottom left corner.

Step #4. Next up, you have four options:

Edit: It lets you change the looks of your avatar. Tap on it and then fine-tune it to your heart’s liking. In the end, tap on Done.

Duplicate: It allows you to create another similar avatar. But you can design your look from the ground zero if you wished to embrace a complete change. In the end, tap on Done.
