How to Find Out If Your iPhone 8 Has Faulty Logic Board
Apple has offered an easy tool to let you find if your iPhone 8 is facing logic board issue and can be part of the repair program.
Step #1. Launch Settings app on your iPhone 8 and tap on General.
Step #2. Now, tap on About.
Step #3. Next, scroll down to the Serial Number and copy it.
Step #4. Next up, go to Apple’s iPhone 8 checker tool. And then paste the serial number and hit the Submit button.
In case your device has a logic board issue, the tool will confirm that. And if this is the case, you need to give your device for the repair.
To do so, directly go to Apple Store, or Authorized Apple Service Provider. You can also contact Apple Support for help. Once you have submitted your problem, you will receive a prepaid shipping box in which you need to send your iPhone for repair.
Apple has taken quick action to resolve the logic board issues. The tech giant had also introduced a similar battery replacement program for iPhone 6s or later a few months ago in the aftermath of several reports of repeated rebooting.
