In its latest iOS, Apple has made our life easier. Unlike earlier versions of iOS, wherein users had to make some changes in DNS and all, this solution is simple to follow.

How to Block Some Websites on iPhone-iPad

But the million-dollar question is that why you should block some websites. Well, it is part and parcel of good parenting. Your kids may have access to your iPhone and iPad, and therefore, you should be worried about the privacy of content browsed on Safari in your iPhone.

Moreover, your iOS devices could be used by other members of the household, apart from your spouse. In this situation, you should keep a tab on the privacy of content consumed. So, here is the solution as to how you can block certain websites.

How to Block Some Websites on iPhone/iPad

Step #1. Open Settings app on your iOS device → Tap on General.

Step #2. Now tap on Restrictions.

Note that if Restrictions are enabled, you need to enter the passcode you have set earlier.

Step #3. Next, tap on Website from under the ALLOWED CONTENT section.

Step #4. Tap on Specific Websites Only.

A list of websites will appear under the section ONLY ALLOW THESE WEBSITES.

Step #5. If you want to add some other websites to this list, tap on Add a Website, which is the last option.

Step #6. Type in the Title and URL of the website and tap on Done.

Allow Particular Site Access on iPhone

The website will be added to the ONLY ALLOW THESE WEBSITES list.

You can delete or remove any website from the list. Just swipe from right to left on the website title. You will see a Delete option in the red button. Tap on the button and the website will be removed from ONLY ALLOW THESE WEBSITES list.
